In loving memory of Wilfred who passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Sheilah (Pat), loving father of Mark, Kevin and Jeff (1970-2015) and daughters-in-law Jill and Kim. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Matthew, Amy, Ashley, Joshua and Laura, as well as his surviving sister Eleanor Halford, brother-in-law Derek Britton and many nieces and nephews.
He was dedicated to his family and his community who he served as a Toronto Firefighter for 36 years. His love of life and quick wit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial service will take place at Melrose Baptist Church, 375 Melrose Avenue, Toronto on Saturday, November 18 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Memorial donations to Salvation Army, World Vision or Yonge Street Mission would be appreciated by the family.
