With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Wendy Watson on September 5, 2025.

Wendy is survived by her partner of 47 years, Lewis Manne, her brother-in-law Tony Manne, Aunt Ethel Abramowitz, cousins Denise and Howard Shilling, cousin Rochelle Morais, and nephew and nieces Sara and Aryeh Berzansky, Rob Manne and Farrah Schwartz, plus their respective families.

Wendy touched the hearts of millions of people through her music, most notably for the Degrassi TV series. She was also a valued friend, daughter, sister and positive influence on everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wendy's memory to My Sister's Place, a not-for-profit organization that provides residential and outreach services for women and their children living with the consequences of violence and abuse. Please visit https://mysistersplace.ca

I had the pleasure to have known you while I was in Canada 🇨🇦 living in "87-89" and for that short period you and Lewis left a branded memory of how to live life to its fullest and enjoy one another.

I loved the positive energy and vibes that came from you both when I was around you it would give me a spark 🔥 of renewed energy for a week, wished our friendship would have lasted longer but yes I took yours and Lewis's long time friend packed him up and moved him to Florida 🤷🏻‍♀️

You will always be loved and remembered by all that you've ever crossed paths with .
