In memory of

Wendy Mi-Lan Lam

June 18, 1958 -  June 26, 2022

Wendy Mi-Lan Lam passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on June 26, 2022. After 3 grueling years of battling lung cancer, her suffering came to an end when she was resting while surrounded by her family and beloved twin sister. She was a loving and doting wife, mother, and grandmother to her husband Edwin, her 3 children Vivian, Vincent, and Vianna, her 2 granddaughters Victoria and Sophia and grand-dog, Pinky.

Wendy left behind an extensive album collection of photos to preserve every precious moment in her life, with each page meticulously scrapbooked by her own hands. She always radiated joy whenever she presented them to others.

Her two biggest passions in life are traveling and her family, which in many instances, go hand in hand. Having taken ~50+ trips during her time on this world, she has seen and experienced many wonderful landmarks and points of interests both near and far from home. All of those memories have been forever catalogued in her photo albums.

Nothing in life could’ve stopped Wendy from actualizing her passion of traveling all over the world. Her photo albums are proof of all the trips she has taken with her family and friends. Even though there is still so many places she wanted to go, what matters most was the journey of life she embarked on, free from regret.

She will always be remembered by those who love her and live on through their memories.

Wendy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmom and friend. Her dedication and devotion to her family inspired me tremendously. Her voice had been echoing in my ears for many years. She had told me to extend support and assistance to the children when they are in need. Being a mom and grandma, I have taken her advice and tried. However, her shoes are too big where no one can fill. Wendy will be deeply missed and loved forever.
