In memory of

Wendi Jeremiah

December 8, 1965 -  April 7, 2017

On Friday, April 7th Wendi quietly passed away at her home at the age of 51.
She was the cherished daughter of Justin (predeceased) and Anna Jeremiah, sister of Shirley, Michael, Alban (Julie) and Janice (Trevor) Jeremiah and favorite aunt to Darryl, Jason, Nicholas, Evan, Angelo and Kyle.

Wendi was born in London, England but spent most of her life in Toronto.
She worked her way through school by working at The Magic Pan and Daniers (remember them) in the Scarborough Town Centre. Most of her working life was spent at Canadian General Insurance and The Mount Pleasant Group where she made lifelong friends. She was a beloved member of the Three Amigos and liked playing softball for the company team.

Always the social butterfly, Wendi could usually be found enjoying the company of good food and good friends. When she wasn’t out and about, you would find her watching all the different incarnations of CSI, NCIS and Law and Order. An avid reader, she spent many an hour searching the neighborhood libraries and bookstores for mystery novels. She couldn’t get enough of them and was always listening to books on tape in her car.

She also loved The Amazing Race and never failed to comment on the brainless antics of some of the contestants. While she would have loved to have participated in the Canadian version of the show, she did the next best thing – helping run the Southern Ontario Amazing Race (SOAR) in support of the Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington.
