In memory of

Wayne Williams

November 25, 1947 -  July 30, 2025

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday July 30, 2025, at 77 years after a five-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Beloved husband to Kathleen for 55 years. Loving father to Johan (David) Wallace, Robert (Laura) and Craig. Cherished grandfather to Owen, Braeden, Logan, Quinn, Declan and Aiden. He will be missed by many family members and friends and all who knew him.

Wayne had a passion for sports. He taught Phys-Ed at the TDSB for 35 years. He was an avid lover of baseball (Toronto Blue Jays), football (Pittsburg Steelers) and golf. One of his most memorable and exciting days was when the Blue Jays won the World Series in 1993. He joined the celebrations walking Young Street with his two sons. Wayne also had an opportunity to Marshall for the Canadian Open for five years after retirement and loved every moment of it.

Family and Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE- MISSISSAUGA 1535 South Gateway Road (at Dixie Road, two lights south of Eglinton) 905-602-1580 on Sunday September 7, 2025, for a Celebration of Waynes Life from 12 – 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Wayne to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
