Wayne Salmon

Wayne Joseph Salmon born August 30th 1941 in Saskatoon has passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on June 1st 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He is survived by his loving wife Sue and his children Christine and Darryl (Maritza) and their mother Pat. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren: Ryan, Tristan, Samantha, Ally, Justin, Dylan, Sara, Owen, Loghan, Brayton, and great-grand daughter Brooklyn. Wayne will be dearly remembered for his dedication to helping others in the various volunteer positions he held throughout his entire life. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to Thompson House for the kindness and care he received in his final days.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 7th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre (275 Lesmill Rd., North York) followed by a short service and reception at 11am on Thursday June 8th. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
