Wayne,
I miss you. Our profession was better because of you. You touched the lives of so many children, parents and educators.

My dear Wayne,
There are no words to express how you will be missed in this world. You were a light. Your time here was meaningful and will be cherished by everyone you have touched.
You taught many, you helped many and you showed compassion and care to many. That is your true legacy. I literally think of you anytime I hear the song.. All the single ladies by Beyonce. But YOUR version, "All the single Bailey's". You can play and laugh and with your bears again, and that makes me smile, cause I can see your smile.
Rest well my dear, you are loved and will never be forgotten.

Wayne was a wonderful man. I had the pleasure of working with him for only a short time at Centennial Sr PS and I always hoped I would have the pleasure to do so again in the future. In education we often talk about caring for the whole child. Wayne did that, but even more so he cared about the whole being of everyone in the building; which is what made him so special. I’ll always remember him and will carry this with me throughout my career.
