Waclawa Galica

Waclawa Galica (nee Pioro) passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on Monday, September 25, 2017. She was the most-beloved wife of the late Jan Galica, and adored mother of Andrew (Alina) and the late Barbara Komorowski (George). Her grandchildren Gregory (Tabetha), Kathryn, Alixandra (Joe), Anett, and Anton all loved their "Adzia". She had a big personality and a generous heart. We will never forget her "heart cakes", which she made on birthdays and special occasions, the endless tomatoes that came out of her garden, and her deep devotion to her faith. Besides her Toronto-area family, she also leaves behind family in the Detroit area. We're certain she is happy now being with her beloved Jan and daughter Barbara. Adzia, you were truly one of a kind. You will be sorely missed.
