In memory of

Viviana Carmen To

July 3, 1998 -  June 25, 2023

Our beloved Viviana To, was taken from us in a tragic car accident along with her soulmate, Ishraq Alam in Surrey, British Columbia on Sunday June 25, 2023.

She leaves behind her mother, Quan Trieu and father, Troung To of Brampton. Loving granddaughter of Nhut Trieu, Muoi Trieu and Lien Tran. She will be sadly missed by her large family of uncles, aunts cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her family of dear friends.

Viviana was born on July 3, 1998. Tall Pines School in Brampton was the springboard of her educational journey where she honed her social skills and developed many close friendships. The International Baccalaureate at Turner Fenton showcased her strong leadership skills and set the foundation for her higher education. It was here, that she developed many lifelong friends that she has to this day. More importantly, this was where she met her one and only love, her soulmate Ishraq. Upon graduating high school with Honours, Viviana was off to pursue her Bachelor of Science at Western University (2016-2018). Viviana was then admitted to the Ivey Business School at Western University (2018-2020). Through her participation in numerous student associations and Case Competition and Consulting Clubs, she solidified her innate entrepreneurial skills. Viviana flourished as a consultant at MasterCard (2020-2022). She then landed a position at RBC as a Portfolio Manager. Not only did she excel in these full time positions, but Viviana also managed to carve out time to pursue her passion in conscious fashion and environmental sustainability. Her “Renewable Box” business, was a product of her entrepreneurial spirit and passion to help people live sustainably. Viviana was driven to achieve all that she set her heart and mind to. As if she had more than 24 hours in a day, she managed to embark on an exciting journey as a digital content creator. Her Instagram content on ‘Vtostyled’ was the epitome of being fashionable and living sustainably at the same time. Viviana worked hard, but she also played hard, travelling to 4 continents and over 20 countries. Viviana’s short but full life continues to inspire and empower young women around the world.

Viviana always donated her gently used clothing to the women’s shelter. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her honour to the “Women and Children Precious Shelter”. Please see the donations tab.
