Virginia King Sau Fung passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on August 21, 2020 at the Mon Sheong Home for the Aged. Virginia was born on June 9, 1923 in Hong Kong and married Mr. Felix Fung in 1941. Mrs. Fung was a teacher at St. Mary's Primary School until 1976, when she and her husband immigrated to Canada to start a new life. She began working at Simpson's Department Store in 1980 and later at Honest Ed's department store until her retirement in 1992. After her husband passed away in 2001, she continued an active lifestyle and participated in many community activities. In 2010, Virginia moved to the Mon Sheong Home for the Aged where she remained until her passing. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
