Dear Tim and Chris and Belfontaine family.
It is with fond memory that I have of getting together with the Belfontaine's at their place with other Unitarians and at our cottage.
A big booming voice a hearty laugh, (cool cars), and a kind and generous man.
Seeing this posting in the newspaper brings back a lot of very fond memories of everybody at the church and your family.
All the best to everybody in the Belfontaine family.
Much love and big hugs.
Graham
It was with sadness that we read of Bill's death but also with happiness at a life truly well and long lived. Our condolences to the whole family.
The Belfontaine's were leaders in our little Springbank community, organizing Christmas carolling (with celebratory after-drinks) and July 1 fireworks and bonfires. All the boys had distinct and charming personalities, which, of course, reflected well on Bill and Susan. Luke was our special favourite as he and our son were great friends, even to this day.
Bill was a part of our lives for the 13 years that we lived there and he will be remembered by us with great fondness.
My condolences to his family. Bill was a "presence" in our Unitarian congregation in Toronto, a lot of fun and contributed in many roles. He'd introduced himself as a publisher, I didn't know about his political accomplishments until reading his story here. Lived large!

Bill was always the gentleman and a,true white knight. I was honored to be one of his authors when he had his publishing house. He was always supportive and kind. I will remember Bill fondly.
Thinking of all the great memories I had with my brother Gord and with my old friend Bill - my condolences to his family.
