It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Vera (Stojanovic) Grubor on July 19, 2017, at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She was 77 years old, just shy of her 78th birthday, but everyone knew she was perennially 29 at heart. Predeceased by her husband Jovo Grubor. Cherished mother of Aleksandra (Gilles Froment), and David (Karla Giraldo Morris). She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Nicolas Froment, and Maya and Marko Grubor. Vera was an excellent educator who loved children and always saw the good in people. Special thanks to the Serbian community, friends and neighbours who were always there when she needed them, brought joy to her and offered tremendous help and support, especially since the passing of her husband over the past two years. She will live on in our hearts forever.
