Vera Filipovic (nee Dobic) known to all that love her as "Majka" left this earth peacefully on October 17, 2021, at the age of 91 with her family by her side.

Majka was a loving sister to Mimi (Mikey), a dedicated mother to Nikola, Dragica (Mikaja), and Svetlana (Filip), a caring aunt to Aca (Tijana) with great-nephew Novak and Mica (Nebojsa).
She was an amazing grandmother to Ronnie (Vanja), Sese (Srdjan), Nensi, Alek (Jelena), Robbie (Tessa), Niki, and Michi (Sasa).

She loved and adored her great-grandchildren; Lucia, Nemanja, Vuk, Marko, Mila, Ethan, AJ, Luca, and baby Adrijana.

Our Majka would be the first to call on your birthday, wedding anniversary, offer support or congratulate you on the birth of a child. She didn't need a calendar or phone book to remember, it was just something she just knew.

Majka loved guests and no matter how small or unexpected the gathering, everyone was welcome. Her heart filled with joy every time and that is why she had a heart of gold.
