Vasile Stan, age 75 , passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024 , in his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 15, 1948 in Bucharest, Romania to Georgetta Stan and Constantin Stan.

Vasile was a devoted husband and father and had many passions in life which included his family, photography, art, his furry companions, as well as being a lover of plants and all things nature. His creativity had no limit. He made beautiful art that he sold online, he cultivated a beautiful backyard into his own oasis, and was very artistic in his interior designs at home. Vasile was also a kind hearted and nurturing soul with a heart full of love. Every goodnight ended with an I love you , to his children and wife.

Vasile is survived by his wife, Liliana Stan; his children, Alexander and Diana (Cory) Stan; his grandson, Damian Stan- Goertzen; his brother, Cristian Stan; his sister, Elena Ceausu; and his nieces, nephew, and great nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; and his daughter Irina Stan.

A viewing is scheduled for 12:30 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 pm on June 18th, 2024 at York Cemetery and Funeral Home.

As an older brother you always protected me throughout my childhood ; when we got married, our families had good relationships, so did our kids!
