It is with great sadness that the family of Bert Jackson announce his passing on September 21, 2021 at Ajax Hospital at the age of 89 years. Bert is predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty". He is survived by his partner and companion, Margaret, his children, Alan (Shellie), Brian, and Maureen (Paul), his grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Ryan, Alanna and Allison, as well as 5 great-grandchildren. Bert is also survived by his brother, Billy, and his sisters, Chrissy and Amy. Bert was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1957. He loved to spend time with his family, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, and he was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. Because of COVID-19 limitations, no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lakeridge Health Ajax Hospital would be appreciated.
