In memory of

Tracey Blanchet

November 1, 1965 -  July 29, 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Tracey Blanchet announce her passing at St Michaels Hospital on Thursday July 29, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 27 years John Engeldinger and her sister Bonnie Blanchet. She was proceeded in death by her mother and father Marion and John Blanchet. Tracey was a kind, generous and outgoing person and will be greatly missed by her family and all of her many friends. She had very diverse interests and hobbies and as anyone that knew her could tell you, she could brighten up your day by just being there.

My deepest sympathy to John and all of Tracey's family and friends. I met Tracey at the new teacher orientation for Pine Ridge back in 1997 and we quickly became friends. Her wonderful soul, her amazing kindness and her fantastic sense of humour meant that any conversation with her was a blast. Tracey was a wonderful support to me when I was going through a loss myself and, while we didn't see each other as much as we would have liked, it would feel like time had never passed when we met up. I will always remember our 3-4 hour conversations at dinner (and hanging out in the parking lot after) and I will miss her sweet spirit and wonderful heart. Rest in peace, my friend.

Such a tragic loss. She was so young. She was the sister of my childhood friend Bonnie. My condolences go out to Bonnie , Tracey’s husband and all of her close friends. Cherish the memories that you have of her and surround yourself with people you love. 💜

I remember Tracey as a kind and gentle soul from her time at Pine Ridge Secondary School. She supported us all through the best and worst of times - always with a smile on her face. She was an important member of the Pine Ridge family. Most of us have not seen Tracey in years but none of have forgotten her warm, friendly personality and supportive nature. Sincere condolences to John, her family and friends for your loss. I share in your grief. Rest in peace Tracey.
