In memory of

Toshiro Aoki

April 24, 1930 -  February 12, 2018

It is with great sadness that I wish to inform you of the passing of Mr. Toshiro Aoki. Loving father of Andrew Aoki, father-in-law of Amy, and grandfather of Olivia. Toshiro was 87 years old. Toshiro was predeceased by his wife Kimie, parents Toichiro and Matsuye, and his brothers Hiroshi and Masaru.

Toshiro was born in Vancouver BC and moved with his family to Toronto where he met his wife Kimie. They built their home and life in East end Toronto near the Danforth.

Toshiro was surrounded by his family when he passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 at Trillium Mississauga hospital. He will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and friends as a generous and supportive man.

In lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated if you could make a donation instead to either the Japanese Cultural Centre or the Canadian Arthritis Society.

Mr. Aoki was a kind and lovely man. He was quiet and did not say much but I always knew that he was attentive and caring of the people around him. He had a gentle smile and a very powerful presence. It was always a pleasure to be in his company and he will be missed.
