In memory of

Timothy Chang

May 13, 1965 -  June 8, 2024

Timothy leaves behind his beloved wife, Lena and his son Evan, his siblings William and Leslie. He is predeceased by his father Yat Wo, mother King Yau, and sister Marjorie.

Timothy was a devoted husband and father. His dedication to his family was his top priority as his love, care, and decisions were always in the best interests of his wife and son.

He was impressionable around others, always welcoming them with his warm smile and striking up easy conversation even with those he just met. His cheerful, upbeat, and polite personality along with his sense of humor attracted many around him.

He was extremely passionate about volleyball always reminiscing about stories of when he won his high school regional championship and his participation in the Chinese 9-man volleyball league, travelling across Canada and the USA. He was an avid skier with great coordination. He had a love hate relationship with the Toronto Maple Leafs always hoping that he would see them win another Stanley Cup, but always faced post season disappointment.

He was a big Marvel fan reading comic books when he was younger and watching all the movies and TV series with Evan.

His love for travelling and cruising sent him across the world visiting the Caribbean, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Bali, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Spain, Italy, France, Greece, and Turkey.

At a young age, Timothy wanted to become a pilot and enrolled in an aviation program but decided to pursue his career in the Finance and Accounting industry, employed most recently at the Region of Peel.

His departure was far too early. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Dear Lena and Evan,

On behalf of Kate and Mira, we are so sorry to hear Tim has left us so early in life. We wish you both comfort, solace, and strength as you go through this difficult period in time.

Tim was always so cheerful and pleasant whenever we spoke and it seemed we could talk on and on. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

With deepest sorrows,
