Thuan Dung Lau

(1924-2021)

Our family is saddened to announce the loss of our Mother/ Grandmother/ Great-Grandmother Thuan Dung, who passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2021. Beloved wife to Viet Lu (d.1986), proud mother to 8 children, adored grandmother to 21 grandchildren, and loving great grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren, we will all dearly miss her.

She lived a full life of 96 years. Her passion for life was admired by all those that she touched. Swimming, Tennis, Ping-pong, and dancing were a part of her daily routine well into her 80’s. Her community involvement through performance, dance, and singing always brought great joy and smiles to others.

A visitation will be held in Thuan Dung’s memory on Wednesday, August 4th at 9:00 am at York Funeral Centre. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 am. Due to COVID-19, capacity limitations are in effect so we recommend confirming attendance with the family prior to the event. Our family greatly appreciates your ongoing support during this difficult time.
