GATELY, THOMAS GREGORY "TOM"

Passed away with his family by his side on May 13, 2016 in his 91st year. Born in Toronto and married for 67 years, Tom leaves behind his beautiful wife, Dorothy, daughter, Beth, and son, Steve, as well as his sister, Celia King. Tom is also deeply missed by Beth’s family, Gord and Shanna Hunter, and Steve’s family, Denise Gately; Sean, Laura, and Addison Keating; and Stephanie, James, Presley, and Cassidy Jones. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Ann and William Gately, and his sister, Mary Halstead.

Our family would like to sincerely thank nurses Alison Byworth and Alison Webster for their support of Tom and of us. Also, thank you to Dr. Mark Hansen who always went above and beyond to help both Tom and his family.

Family and friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday, May 21 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial tributes will take place at 2:30 p.m.
