FAIRHART, Thomas Elias

Thomas passed away at his home in Oshawa on June 24, 2024, at the age of 90. Loving husband of Josephine for over 65 years. Beloved father of Dawn Fairhart (Pat Moore), Avian Chaisson, late Arleigh Fairhart (Gail) and chosen daughter Denise Kelland (Mark). Adored Grumpa of Aurora-Leigh Fairhart (Anthony Lewis), late Allan Moore, Jeremy Chaisson (Matt Paradis), Kyle Chaisson, Victoria Simpson (Kyle Simpson), Matthew Fairhart, Thomas Fairhart, Casey Kelland, Cody Kelland, Cris Kelland, Breanna Kelland. Great grandfather of Jackson Moore, Jayden Chaisson, Noah Chaisson, Grayson Chaisson, Luna Simpson, Leighton Simpson and Holden Kuntz. Tom will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Those who knew Tom will recall his love of family, enjoying leisure time watching TV and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Visitation will be held at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787) on Tuesday July 2, 2024 from 9 am until time of service in the chapel at 11 am. Interment will follow. Donations will be gratefully accepted for the charity of your choice.
