It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Buck Kim Fong. A husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Tom passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023, at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill after a brave and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 79.

Beloved husband to Lorraine, father of David (Sandra), Pearl, Danny, Jennifer, Thomas (Maria), and Lisa. Devoted grandfather to Adam and Ava. Loving brother to Betty. Cherished uncle to Parker, Debbie, Jeff, Stephanie, Melissa and Samantha. A much loved son of Richard and Susan.

Tom will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill.

Friends may call at the ELGIN MILLS FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill (SE corner of Elgin Mills and Leslie) 905-737-1720 on Friday, August 25, 2023 for a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. An interment to follow at ELGIN MILLS CEMETERY.

Dearest Fong Family,
My sincerest condolences to your family. Your Father had always greeted me with the most warmest & welcoming smile. His sweet personality and conversations were always something to look forward to. His delicious meals that he proudly served up were a testament to his culinary talents. You are a blessed family to have such a wonderful Father. His presence will live on through all of you. I hope that gives you all some strength during this difficult time.
