A strong empathic man with a radiant smile who will be remembered for a big heart in all circumstances has gone home to be with the Lord. Although it is a time to mourn and a time to shed tears, we can also rejoice in knowing his family and friends deeply loved him. As a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather of three, and a friend who tried to passionately love as he lived. Tom is missed by his children Ruben McMahon, Constance Skinner, Thomas Skinner Jr. , Kristen Skinner and Courtenay Skinner, children’s mother Maggie McMahon, his brother Ronald Jerome Skinner of Mississauga, sister Clara-Belle Williams and husband Gladstone of Toronto; and sister Valarie Naomi Skinner of Toronto. He was predeceased by mother Mary Jane Skinner. Tom was also blessed with two nephews and an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will take place in the Chapel on Friday, March 22 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., followed by Church Service & Burial, and then reception for family and friends at Pine Hills Cemetery.
