It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Theodora (Todora) Kostopoulos with her daughter Gina by her side on July 10, 2021, at the age of 96. Born in the village of Bouf in Florina, Greece. Loving wife of the late Stavros and loving mother of Gina (Larry). Beloved sister of the late Maria. Theodora will be greatly missed by all but especially her grandchildren John (Mary), Alex (Casey) and Stephen (Marian) and by her great grandchildren, Theo, Sadie and Niko. She was always smiling, joking, laughing and loved to dance. Baba loved her garden and preparing a good meal for her family. She will be so dearly missed and forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace, and her memory be eternal. Funeral viewing will take place Wednesday, July 14th from 2:30-4:30p.m. & 5:00-8:00p.m. at the York Funeral Centre & the Funeral burial is Thursday July 15th at 1:00p.m. at the York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ON, M2N 5Z5.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are limited spaces for visitation and funeral service. Please follow guidelines when you arrive.

I am so sad that my wonderful Nina passed away. I have fond memories of her wit and will always remember her as a strong willed, energetic and hard working woman. She amazed me with her retorts to many different situations. Any time I would recount a incident that happened in the village of Bouf, I could never finish it without bursting into fits of laughter. The most recent is the "girdle" episode which had me and my sister in stitches. My husband Peter would frequently remind me that she was always saying to him " Peere you good boy, Pauline she crazy" to which he would relish in telling me frequently "see, your family likes me more than they like you".
