In memory of

Thelma Yvonne Press

November 9, 1938 -  December 14, 2017

PRESS, Thelma Yvonne
November 9, 1938 – December 14, 2017
With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved wife, mother, grand-mother and friend after a lengthy illness at The Heritage Nursing Home in Toronto. Thelma, lovingly and often referred to as “Nanny” is survived by and will be dearly missed by her husband Bill Hagen, daughter Nancy (Malvern), son William (Leslie), grandchildren Michael (Breagh), April and Jacob and great-grandchildren Noah, Matthew and Sabastian, predeceased by her son, James Vousden. Survived by her sister Lorraine Press. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Scott Mission or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Mom you will be forever missed, remembered for always putting others first and most importantly the love you extended to your family.

Nanny

She lived her life,
with grace and cheer.
An amazing Nanny,
to many so dear.

She placed her family,
at the top of her list.
Her presence and voice,
will surely be missed.

She was the type,
Her big smile would greet.
To those around her,
generous and sweet.

With her time on this earth,
she was selfless and kind.
The memory of her,
shall grow in each mind.

We loved our Nanny,
and forever we will.
Thoughts of her,
our days we shall fill.

With tears of sadness,
together we cry.
With heavy hearts,
we share this goodbye.

Rest in peace.
