It is with great sadness that the family of Terrey Garrick Thain announce he passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the age of 85.

Terrey was born on February 27, 1940 in East Tottenham, England to Florence and Arthur Thain. Terrey and his family immigrated to Canada when he was 7 years old in attempts to escape World War II. Here he worked as an Electrician for the City of Toronto for 21 years, there was no prouder Canadian. Terrey enjoyed spending his time with family, being outside, watching Nascar, fishing, and as any true english man, drinking tea.

Terrey will live on in the hearts of his wife of 61 years Frances, daughter Lorrie-Ann, son in law Bruce, granddaughters Krista and Jessica, sister Marion (Jack), sister in law Shirley (Gary), and nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 1:00pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00pm the same day, both located at Pine Hills Funeral Centre. Refreshments to follow.
