In memory of

Terrance Thomas Brown

August 13, 1956 -  September 2, 2018

Terrance Thomas Brown died peacefully after a brief illness in SouthLake Hospital on Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 62.

Terry is survived by his loving wife Lynda (nee Patryluk); son, Erik (Andrea nee Lamarucciola); siblings, Linda (Mal), Danny, Janet (Benny) and Carole; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Patricia and brother Philip.

Terry was born on August 13 1956 in North Bay, Ontario to Carl and Patricia Brown. He married Lynda in 1984. After moving to Richmond Hill, Terry began working for Gamma Foundry. Terry worked at Gamma for over 27 years and made many lifetime friends. Terry loved to travel. St. Maarten was his favourite destination, and he has been there 15 times. He was also an avid golfer in his younger years and spent as much time as he could on the links.

Terry will be remembered as being quick with a smile, a joke or a story that was bound to crack you up. His morning Facebook posts, which brightened all of our days, are already greatly missed by everyone.

Viewings are being held at 1591 Elgin Mills Road East Richmond Hill Ontario L4S 1M9 on Thursday September 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Gormley Suite. Friday September 7th, the viewing will be held in the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow. Deacon George Jurenas will officiate the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre. The family would like to give a huge thank you to all of the caregivers, hospital staff and Doctors in the Cardiac Ward for their love and attention over the past week.

I became friends on Facebook with Terry through his fondness of St. Martaan.
I looked out for his daily quips and would always try to make an amusing response whenever possible.
I’m already missing his his daily quotes.

Rest in peace Terry. I didn't know you for long, but I do know that you're the love of my mama's life. Lynda's face always lit up knowing you were around (well she was also trying to hear whatever joke you would be saying about her) but I could see the love you had for each other. Thank you for being a light and love to her, you've both been through such hard times that you got through with your sense of humor and Lynda's strength. I can only hope to find a love like yours ❤️ I know you're making people laugh up there in heaven
