In memory of

Terence "Terry" McHugh

September 11, 1929 -  August 17, 2018

McHugh, Terence Crossman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Terence McHugh on Friday, August 17, 2018. Predeceased by his mother Kathleen Crossman and father Hugh McHugh, brothers Gerald and Hugh and granddaughter Isabelle Hare and his loving wife Florence A Fraser McHugh, Terry is survived by his sons Michael (Jennifer), Peter (Maura) and daughter Catherine (Greg Hare) and loving grandchildren Diana and Thomas McHugh, Natasha and Alex Hare.
Terry spent his early years in Guelph, Ontario and was later educated at the University of Western Ontario in London where he received his business degree. He moved to Toronto to pursue a job at General Electric and subsequently launch the manufacturing firm Canadian Tubular Elements with his business partner in 1966.
It was in Toronto where he met the dynamic Florence Fraser with whom he spent 60 happy and often hilarious years together at their lively home on Maple Avenue.
Terry will be remembered by all for his sharp insight, great wit and mammoth knowledge.
