In memory of

Ted Mitroff

August 7, 1954 -  August 25, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of a most wonderful man who was loved by all. A most devoted and loving father to Morgan and Tasha. Deeply loved and cherished partner of Sandie Martin (Asha, Andrew & Audra) and family. Ted is the beloved son of John and the late Cathy (May 2016), adored brother to John (Anna), Christine (Curtis) and Dianne (Donnie).

Ted lived his life to the fullest: from his football days at East York Collegiate, to playing basketball representing St. George’s Church, to his years of owning pubs, where everybody knew his name.

In retirement, he filled his life with golf, travel and most important, friends and family. He loved people and people loved him back. He was proud of his Macedonian heritage and will be forever remembered for his leading of Zaiko!

Ted was always the life of every party. His irreplaceable spirit, joie de vivre and ability to tell jokes are second to none! He will be dearly missed by all.

At times like these, no words can take away the shock, grief, sadness and anger your loved ones are feeling Ted. I was lucky to have known you, your crazy ways and corny jokes, You had a smile that could be seen a mile away and I hope that light continues to shine down on your girls and family for all their days. You told a story and lived the life of a "King" , that some people could only dream of. I'm happy to have served in your court, and grateful for all you taught me.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Ted's passing. It was truly far too soon. The memories of times with Ted will stay with us always. A true gentleman, a great person and a wonderful friend. He served as MC at our wedding and it made our day even more special. Ted is one of a kind and will be missed. Our condolences to the family. xo
