TEMJANOVSKI,(Nikolovski) Talo
Talo, affectionately known as Tommy, went peacefully in the night after a 9 week stay at the hospital. He was the youngest born in Makovo, Macedonia he had 3 siblings, his sister and brother, Angelina, Zivko, who sadly passed away and living brother Zdrave. His father Trajko, and mother Gjurgja. 7 nieces and nephews, along with their children and families.
As a young man at a tender age of 18 he came to Canada. His Canadian journey started in Montreal then Toronto. It brought on many opportunities and successes. He was enrolled into George Brown College immediately and learned English, along with a trade in carpentry. His English was extremely good, and helpful to the Macedonian community, he was often known with great pride to extend his knowledge and experiences to the next generations and bring people to immigration and employment offices, providing lodging as the generations before him did with him.
His next success would come in the culinary field which he often would share with his family during the holiday’s making the best sauces he learned at the King Edward Hotel, and Chateaubriand, or eggs benedict from the Royal York hotel. He would end his journey of work in ownership of two family restaurants.
His real success would come from his mother land - his world brightened as he went back to Bitola Macedonia in 1968 and met the love of his life, wife Blaga Bandevska, Temjanovski, from selo Smilevo. They had two children, Nikolche(Sanja), and Gordana(Mick), who had given him 3 grandchildren, twins, Vladimir (21), Damjan(21), and granddaughter Ana(12). He often would ask for them, and always shared a big proud smile full of joy.
Talo, will be remembered for his stories of the motherland, his passion for the Macedonian identity , and amazing gravy during the holidays.
We will miss you dearly, rest in peace with your beloved family and friends in heaven.
