In memory of

Tahereh Shahri

January 6, 1946 -  September 23, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Tahereh Shahri announces her passing. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on September 23rd, 2024. Tahereh was born in Mashhad, Iran on January 6th, 1946. She was the beloved oldest daughter of Mohammad Ali Shahri and Ashraf Fasih. She married her husband Mohammad Ali Zebarjadian in 1966 and they went on to have two children, Kayvan and Leili. Tahereh was a dedicated elementary school teacher who shaped the lives of many. She retired in 1993 after thirty years of teaching. During retirement, she split her time between Iran and Canada in order to spend more time with her grandchildren, Ghazal, Tannaz, and Kian. She was a lover of nature and went on walks every day, regardless of how she was feeling. She had many culinary skills and loved to share her talents with her loved ones. Her positivity and kindness made an impact on everyone who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her husband Mohammad Ali, children Kayvan and Leili, beloved daughter in-law Behnaz, grandchildren Ghazal (Zach), Tannaz, and Kian, brothers Abbas (Sima), Mehdi (Farideh), Mohsen, and Ali (Masoomeh), sister Nasrin (Sohrab), and many nieces and nephews.

I feel so blessed to have known Tahereh Khanoom. I heard so many stories of fun filled travels she made with my family in Iran and abroad. I am honored to have my small share of such memories when Tahereh Khanoom visited us in California with the whole family. No words can fill the void Tahereh Khanoom has left, but I find comfort in the beautiful memories she created for us all.
May God bless her soul!🌷🌺💐🙏💐🌺🌷
