Tadeusz Borys passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, January 20th at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario after a tough battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. His physical strength and big heart helped him fight through the aggressive disease for as long as he could.

He is survived by his loving family; his wife Ellen and children Alicia (Greg Roumanis) and Amanda (Jeremy Fuoco) and his mother Olga.

Many of us who knew Tadeusz were familiar with his passion for golf, entrepreneurialism, cooking and fine wine. Those who knew him best would agree that his most undisputed quality was the unconditional love he provided for those around him, especially for his family. He never hesitated to put others before himself, and that made it easy to love him.

We know he’s in heaven now, pain-free, smiling and looking down on us as he is re-united with his in-laws Boris and Vassa Mangos.

Please join us at Elgin Mills Cemetery for a viewing on Wednesday, January 23rd from 5pm – 9pm. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 24th at 10am at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church.
