In memory of

Svetlana Dokoska

June 23, 1971 -  May 11, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Svetlana Dokoska left us on May 11,
2022 at the age of 50. Svetlana will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Zoran,
her two daughters, Kristina and Elena, her mother Cveta, and her many cousins, aunts,
uncles, nieces, and nephews. Svetlana is predeceased by her father, Zivko and brother,
Stojce.

As a young woman, Svetlana immigrated to Canada to build a better life for herself and
for her family. Her accomplishments and positive impact touched everyone she met.
She was one of the most selfless and caring people you could meet. Anyone who knew
her can tell you she had a big, kind heart and was always there when you needed help,
no matter when or what. Whether you needed help with making a traditional
Macedonian meal or pastry, someone to babysit, or you just needed some advice, she
was always there for you and happy to help.

Svetlana was someone who was happiest through the simple pleasures of life; spending
time with family and friends, a house filled with laughter and smiles, and enjoying time
outdoors in nature. She loved to make people laugh and see a smile on everyone’s
face. She was happiest when those around her were happy.
Svetlana will be forever missed.

Family, friends, and others who’s lives Svetlana touched are invited to attend the
visitation at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre on 1057 Brock Rd., Pickering at
11am on Thursday, May 19, 2022 followed by the funeral service and burial at Pine
Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Rd. W.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a beautiful and humble soul. Svetlana was always smiling and so happy. She always made sure to leave a beautiful impression on you following a visit. I remember her warm hugs, even when I was a little girl. I hope and pray your family finds strength through all the wonderful memories you shared together. Her smile will never be forgotten. Rest in eternal peace Svetlana, you will be missed.
