Susan Jean Chong Wong died suddenly on September 22, 2025, at the age of 90 in Markham, Ontario.
Born in China on October 7, 1934 she immigrated to Canada in May of 1951. She was the daughter of Jackson (Mingxing) and Jean Chow (Zhou Lai Jin) both deceased.
She is survived by her beloved husband Sunny; her children Tim (Joy), Sandra (Sidney), Tony (Sue), and Cynthia (Jeff); her grandchildren Robin, Katrina (Mike), Kristina (Marcel), Kathryn Sarah, Samantha (Whitfield), Shelby, Serena (Brendan), Stephanie (Sebastian), Kevin, Justin and Alex; her great grandchildren Dallas (Dakota), Dexter, Hayden and Chiara her brothers Fred, deceased (Big Fong), Gord (Candace), Herbert and Philip; her sisters Judy (Joe deceased), Mary (Robert deceased), and May (Domenic). Her greatest joy was her family and loving and feeding everyone.
A reception will be held after the funeral at Zunyan Fine Dining and Banquet at 648 Silver Star Blvd. Scarborough, all are welcome.
