Susan Diane Hancock

July 21, 1964 -  December 2, 2023

Surrounded by loved ones, Susan Diane Hancock (nee Farrell) passed away after a brief illness on December 2, 2023. Survived by her parents Tom and Kaaren Farrell, Susan was born July 21, 1964 in Toronto Ontario and is the dear sister of Adam Farrell (Christina), Paul Farrell and sister in law to Murray Hancock (Grace). Beloved mother of Victoria Loney (Dwayne Walker) and Katrina Loney (Gregory Willhelm) and Jeremy Mason (predeceased 2023). Loving wife and devoted partner of Charles Hancock since 2009(m. 2012).

Susan is also survived by her former husband and good friend Bruce Loney (Cynthia Connelly). Fondly remembered and missed by nephews Jonathan Farrell, Tyler Farrell, Liam Farrell, Kevin Hancock, Austin Hancock, and Adam Hancock (Chelsea) and her grandnephew Oliver Hancock and grandnieces Emily Hancock and Lillian Farrell along with her many friends. A thoughtful and compassionate soul who was known for her commitment and dedication to her family, especially her children. They cherished every moment with her and will miss her tremendously.

Susan had a long and successful career as a Dental Assistant, working alongside Mark Miller for over 25 years. Susan was recognized as a hardworking, kind and dedicated colleague, creating strong friendships over the years. A bright light that was extinguished far too soon Susan’s strength of character, her loyalty and her sense of humour will be remembered by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Markham-Stouffville Hospital and Kidney Foundation.

There are no words that can be said to understand or comprehend this tragic loss. All who have worked with her are struck by tremendous grief of this wonderful and compassionate woman.
