Beloved wife, and mother Susan Tai, passed away in her sleep last Friday, April 5, 2024, in Markham at the age of 68.
Born in Hong Kong; Susan moved to the USA where she was educated and married. She graduated with an impressive triple major (Accounting, Computer Science and Business Administration) and pursued a career in Information Technology. She moved with her husband to Canada upon completion of her studies. While having a heavy professional schedule, she also raised two children: always protective of her children and getting the best for them. Together with her brother, she looked after her parents in Toronto. She took an early retirement due to health reasons. Since then, her health slowly deteriorated.
Susan is survived by her husband (Francis), son (Felix), daughter (Leticia), son-in-law (Ryan) and her precious granddaughter (Lydia); by her parents (Chuen-Ching, Wei-Ching); brother (Tin-Sing) and sister-in-law (Wei-Yee); niece (Yuen-Yee) and family; brother (Tin-Man); cousin (Chi-Hung) and sister-in-law (Sarah); cousin (Pier) and Family; cousin (David) and Family; cousin (Edward) and Family.
Susan loved collecting stamps, coins and articles of importance. There is a story for every item in her collection.
She will be missed by her family and longtime friends. A private funeral will be held at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre @ 1591 En Mills Road East, Richmond Hill on April 12, 2024
