It is with great sadness that the family of Suresh Chet Ram announces his passing at home, surrounded by his loving family on June 2, 2018 after a valiant battle of illness. Suresh will be lovingly remembered by his wife Malvina of over 42 years. He is the beloved father of Samson (Tina), Ashna (Mark) and Aaron and the cherished Dada (grandfather) of Hannah and Rhema. He is the adored brother of Mariam Solomon (John) and Urmila Datta and the cherished Mammu (Uncle) of Ernest, Evonne, Billy and Noel. Suresh will also be fondly missed by many family members and friends. He will be forever remembered for his love and devotion to his family, his fighting spirit and his great sense of humour. Suresh was very generous with his time - always caring for others. He will be dearly missed by all who were touched by this very kind and gentle man.

Visitation will be held at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa 905-579-6787) on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 12:00 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Great Hall at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery (2505 Brock Road North, R.R. #1, Pickering, ON L1V 2P8).

Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Canadian Cancer Society and/or to the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Foundation.

My deepest sympathies to beloved wife Melvina and his children Ashna,Sam and Aaron and inlaws Tina and Mark and two grandaughters Hannah ,Rhema to all other family members.Suresh Ram was a very sincere and gentle person.who was delightful despite the savage attack of what killed him .i jacqueline would like to say it was nice to meet me.i enjoyed the time i shared with him.God bless you brother.i will see you in heaven .To The family Its hard bury to lay to rest .losing your earthly father but thank god you have a heavenly father that will take care of all of your families needs.

Suresh bhaisahab will be missed dearly by all of us, specially my parents who knew him when he was a young boy in Delhi India. My parents were extremely close to his father who I fondly remember. May the lord give you strength and peace during this huge loss. Our prayers are with Chet Ram family.
