関胡瑞妹夫人 Sui Mui "Irene" Kwan

Sui Mui Kwan, aged 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2016 in care of Scarborough Hospital, Birchmount Campus, after a brief battle with cancer.

Sui Mui, or Irene to her friends, was born in Hong Kong, China on November 25, 1935. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bon Young; daughter Kathryn, son-in-law, Miguel and grandson, Miles. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends were Sui Mui’s passion and delight. She enjoyed exercising, travelling and experiencing the world. She worked as a nurse in Toronto for more than 30 years.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, August 19th at 10am, at York Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
