Stojan Bokun is survived by his wife Dragica Bokun of 50 years, and by his eldest son Alex, daughter-in-law Heather, and two granddaughters Natasha and Milica Bokun. His youngest son, Bogdan (Bobby) Bokun passed away from cancer in 2009.
Stojan Bokun was a veteran of the Second World War and was a member of the Dinarska Division of the Serbian Chetnik Army in Republic of Srpska Krajina. The Chetniks were the first resistance group against the Nazis in Europe.
When Stojan Bokun came to Canada, he worked at the Reliable Toy Company for 40 years as a mechanical engineer.
Stojan loved nature and music but his first love was always for his family. They were his pride and joy and he was much loved in return.
Stojan passed away quietly in his sleep. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A great man with a great sense of humour. The last ten years have been tough on him with his son's illness and eventual death. He did though have the pleasure of enjoying his two grand daughters in his later years... and God knows those little girls were his world. Mr.s Bokun, Al, Heather, Natasha, Melissa our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time but he is in a better place.... and we all know who he went to find. God Bless.

Dragi Strice,

Zahvalni smo Vam za sve momente koje smo proveli sa Vama.
