Proud Scotsman. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 6, 1948.

Married Tricia in Scotland on April 12, 1969 (55 amazing years) and immigrated to Canada in March of 1970. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Whitby to build a family together.

Worked as a Tool & Die Maker and over the years was promoted to Director of Operations at many automotive companies.

Highly respected Past Master of David T. Campbell Masonic Lodge, “a Brother to many”. Past President of the Whitby Rangers Club bringing together fans and families. A golf enthusiast playing numerous golf courses around the world with his buddies.

Best Dad in 10 towns to Lisa (husband Mike), Courtney (husband Steve) and John (wife Jamie).

Best Grandad in 10 towns to Ryan, Johnny, Lauren, Claire and Camryn.

Beloved son of Betty and the late John Lawrence.

Much loved brother of Rosemary and David (wife Elaine).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Not sure I can pin point specifics with a memory. UNCLE Stewart was a man who quite simply was always there. There for a beer, there for a hug, there for a fun time and there because a family man is always there. He and Aunty Tricia. I can't offer enough appreciation and thanks for the times they were there for my mom during health troubles. There for my father Jerry (as not just family but as a great friend) and there at the end for my father. He spoke at my father's celebration of life and there weren't many more people we'd want to speak on such an occasion. Uncle Stewart will forever be missed....
