Age 61, was born November 7, 1962, in East York, Ontario and died suddenly on August 21, 2024. Steven was the son of the late, Anita & Ronald Sayers; He is survived by his wife, Gail Sayers; children, Brenden and Connor Sayers; his sister Karen Secord, brother in-law Bruce Secord, his brother Michael Sayers, sister in-law Tracey Sayers; nephews, Ryan & Jason Secord, Ethan & Matthew Sayers; Cousins and Friends. Steven lived most of his life in East York and later in Newcastle, Ontario. He was proud of his Irish up bringing and what that meant, to be a strong Irishman. As a child, he played many sports at the encouragement of his parents, which came to him naturally. He loved his sports and all the friendships that developed, which he still had. He passed on the love of sports to his own children and became their coach and biggest fan. He was a Journeyman Plumber and a proud member of UA Local 46, which were always there to support him.
