Gone to soon my friend. Condolences to your family. Airborne
Sorry for the loss of Steve. Far too young to leave us. I wish you peace now and in the future.
On Behalf of The Royal Regiment of Canada Association we would like to express our sympathy and condolences to the Gobuty family and friends. Steve was instrumental in the transitioning of The Royal Regiment of Canada in the mid 90's to become part of the 10/90 Battalion. He ensured and raised the bar to a regular force standard. As a former Royals Senior NCO, his influence, advice and friendship where very valuable to myself as well as everyone else in the Regiment. He'll not be forgotten and he'll be truly missed.

Steve was a wonderful man, it was a pleasure to know him. I ran into him once outside of work for another job interview and he very quickly put me at ease with his characteristic humour. He will be greatly missed.
