Steve Beis

January 23, 1962 - April 24, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steve Beis on April 24th. Loving son of Thomas and Frances. Loving brother of Danny (Gemma), Sophie (Brent) and Chris (Elena), good friend of Dimetra. Uncle Steve was proud of his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them on walks in the neighborhood or watching sports. He will be missed by Ashley, Caitlin, Lindsay, Alexander, Patrick, Thomas, Bridget and Marcus. The family will be accepting visitors at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough on Friday, April 28 from 3-9 p.m . where a funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 29th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation in memory of Steve’s generosity and gentle soul.

I work in the Toshiba building where Steve was stationed and he was always a great guy to talk to about all of our favorite sports. Steve and I both had a love for horse racing and we would frequently talk about our favorites and the races that were upcoming. I hadn't seen Steve in a few weeks and I'm very saddened by his passing. Steve, may the Lord wrap his arms around one of the truly good guys and keep you safe.

Steve was a beautiful, gentle soul who was always enjoyable to be with. The children always loved Steve. The last time I saw Steve, we had a wonderful chat that I will always remember fondly. Steve will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
