In memory of

Stephen McMillan

September 14, 1963 -  February 11, 2017

Stephen passed suddenly at 12:32 pm that Saturday, he suffered of a massive heart attack in his driveway of his home that he loved with all his heart. Steven passed with a good friend Kyle by his side and on the property he so proudly owned and loved. We the family will be forever indebted to this fine young man for all that he has done for Stephen before, during and then for us after his passing.

Stephen was one of the most down to earth people one could ever hope to meet. Loyal brother and friend to all he met in his travels.

Stephen is the beloved son of Thomas James McMillan (1936-2015) and mother Mary June (McMurray)McMillan, he was very proud to have been born in Belfast, Northern Ireland just as his father Thomas and mother June were father. While his passing will reunite him with his father he is already heart brokenly missed by his dear mother.

He also leaves behind 3 siblings James Edmund McMillan, 57, Sandra McMillan, 55 and Lorraine (Spencer) McMillan, 51, and was a most wonderful brother to have had.

He will be dearly missed by his many nephews and nieces and especially by niece Jay-Cee Simpson and nephews Scott Simpson and Hogan McMillan with whom he held an extra special bond with.

While Stephen didn't have any children of his own by birth, he will be dearly missed by two very special step daughters who entered his life. Elise and Micheline Hawley of Uxbridge, Ontario who came to love him just as much as much we did and we love them as he did.

For those who wish to join us in the celebration of Stephens life please see the details below for the date and time of his service.

Bless you all and we will see you soon.

We met Steve 16 years ago when he installed our hardwood floors. He was always ready to lend a hand and we developed a close relationship with him over the years. We will miss him dearly.

Steven was a true gentleman with a heart of gold! When I visited aunt June in Canada many years ago Steven always showed me a great time, we had many good laughs in his bus on the driveway & plenty of fabulous BBQ's at his house! Steven you were a legend ❤️❤️ Your cousin Karen xx

I have fond memories as a young girl, I so loved my cousin Stephen, he was my idol. He was always so kind and loving toward me, and truly sparked adventure in my young life. He knew how to fix anything, and never said no to a wee passenger on his dirt bike. I'm so very saddened by the news of his passing. Seeing him just over a year ago after such a long time, I'm so grateful I had the opportunity. Rest in paradise Stephen. Lord comfort those who were closest to him, and let his memory live in them each day.
