In memory of

Stephen Kimber Skelton

May 14, 1958 -  July 29, 2025

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear father, Stephen Kimber Skelton, at the age of 67, on July 29th, 2025. He passed peacefully in his sleep after a short illness. Stephen's faith and humour guided him to the very end.

Leaving behind the love of his life, Rosemary after 42 years of marriage, his son Michael (Shida), daughter Stephanie (Jonathan), granddaughter Charlotte, and sister Cathy.

Stephen was a passionate learner and avid reader. From teaching himself Mandarin and Cantonese fluently in his late teens, to learning about religion and philosophy, his teachings and learnings were always shared and passed on to his loved ones, and will be for generations to come through his adored granddaughter.
Stephen was a keen musician, a fantastic guitarist and pianist, a love shared and passed on to his son, Michael.

The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and great thanks to their family and friends for their continuous support.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th at 1:00pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Care in Pickering. Expressions of sympathy including flowers, or a donation in Stephen's name to the Lakeridge Health Foundation are welcome.
