It is with much sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Stanislawa Swies on Monday, March 20, 2023.

She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She fought so hard right to the end, but God had other plans and finally let her rest.

We are left to mourn and remember, to laugh and cry, as it will take some time to pick up the pieces and carry on along with her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Ciocia was always willing to help any way she could. She loved to spend her time outdoors or on a beach. You could find her in the park feeding the birds. Ciocia loved her dogs and secretly feeding them deli meats. She enjoyed her Polish comedies and a good cooking show.

Ciocia was truly one of a kind, as tough as they come, and will remain forever in our hearts.

We love you and miss you dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
