Spyridon Venetis, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at the Hellenic Home for the Aged in Scarborough. He was born on November 16, 1931 in Greece and married Constantula Polygarakis in 1966. They were living in Germany when they welcomed their son Athanasios. Soon after his birth, they moved to Toronto, Canada and welcomed their daughter Theodora. Spyridon lived life to the fullest through his work in photography and videography. He loved spending time with his grandsons and editing his videos. He is preceded in death by his parents Athanasios and Georgia (Constantini), his brothers Stavros and Leftheri, and his sister Agathi. He is survived by his wife Constantula, his two children Athanasios (Ann), and Theodora (Bill), his grandsons Evan, Nathan, and Nicholas, by his siblings Harris, Sophia, Tasia, Christos, Maria, and his nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Spyridon touched are invited to attend the visitation at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Road), Toronto on Thursday, 28 November from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre on Friday, 29 November at 11:00 am with interment to follow.
