It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sophie Anthony on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Born November 10, 1926 in Vevi, Greece, Sophie was the daughter of the late Demetrios and Melpomene Novis. Pre-deceased by her loving husband, Alexander, and her sisters Roda Petsinis and Anastasie Kotsopoulos, Sophie will be sadly missed by her children, Don (Mary), Victoria and Joanne; and by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all staff at Harmony Hills for their care and kindness. Visitation at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, July 28th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with burial to follow.
