Sofka Lovacev

February 5, 1949 - January 23, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sofka Lovacev, age 73, on Monday, January 23, 2023. Sofka was the devoted wife of Andon for 50 years, loving mother of Lazar (Marija) and Fanche (Chavdar), and doting grandmother (Baba) of Antoni, Katerina, Nate and Erik. Sofka is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
Sofka will be remembered by her family and friends for her infectious laughter, generous nature and making delicious food that could feed a crowd. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends and spoiling her four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre. The viewing is from 10 am to 11 am, followed by the service from 11 am to 11:45 and burial from 12 pm to 12:30 pm.
