In memory of

So Fung Wong

November 6, 1950 -  October 12, 2025

So Fung Stella Wong, 74, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia.

So Fung was known for her courage, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to her family. A resourceful and determined woman, she faced life’s challenges with quiet strength and grace. Together with her husband, she ran a family business in the food industry while embracing the joys and demands of motherhood. In her characteristic resilience, she gave birth to her second child after working a full ten-hour shift the night before.

When widowed at the age of 41, So Fung raised her four children with steadfast love and sacrifice. She often traveled alone between cities to be present for each of them, ensuring they always felt her support, guidance, and warmth.

In her fifties, she began a new chapter as a medical assistant at a local clinic, where her friendly charm and work ethic quickly made her a favourite among both colleagues and patients.

So Fung was an extraordinary woman of many talents, but above all, she will be remembered as a deeply loving and protective mother whose strength and compassion shaped the lives of everyone she touched.

She will be deeply missed by her children — Andrew, Christina, Isabel, and Lolita — and her beloved grandchildren Peyton, Matthew, Charlie, Riley, Claire, Adalyn, Hudson, and Holden. So Fung was predeceased by her parents, Lin Chun and Ha Nam Lee, and her husband, Kwok Ling.

Her quiet strength, devotion, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

To honour So Fung's life, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Society of Toronto (Donation Link below) as an alternative to flowers.

Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
